I know what you mean, though, about reading some people's poetry and being amazed! I know I could never do that. But I can write poems that are OK and mean something to me. I think the secret is not comparing yourself to others. Just concentrate on writing a poem that sounds good to you. If you do that, I can almost guarantee others will like it, too! Good luck!
