Your Opinion
Heyy everyone.. Ok I got this question off of Union Grove and I want to hear your guy’s answers.
“It has been 5 years since tourists flew airplanes into the Twin Towers. You guys would have been in the 3rd grade. What do you remember about that day? What were your feelings? Were you scared? Did you have any clue what was going on.
Or write about what your feelings are now. Should we be making such a big deal with ceremonies of the event? Should their be films of the event? Etc.”
Ok so there’s the qeustion now I’d like all of your opinions.. If you wish to go visit union grove click here.

I was definitely not in third grade five years ago, but I remember the day. I was teaching a small group of adult students from other countries. They came back from break and told me that a plane had crashed into the Twin Towers. I got a radio and we listened for awhile. I remember being shocked. What shocked me most, I think, was using a plane full of innocent people to do it.
My students all got calls and emails from their parents and other relatives urging them to leave immediately and return home. Their families, not really understanding that New York is a long ways from Louisiana, were very frightened.
I will be interested to read what others think and remember.

After reading the post from Nancy McKeand I changed my mind about what I said on Second opinion. I know think that this day is important and I feel horrible for saying that it didn’t affect me, becuase reading all of these comments, ecspecailly the one from Nancy McKeand made me realize that this does affect us canadians, and I feel horrible.
