Here’s my fantasy story. Please leave comments on how I can make it better.
Brono’s Quest
Chapter 1: Heartbreaking News
“Sorry to say Nodra but you have a rare lung cancer.” Dr. Frobo said. “We will put you on medication but you only have 6 weeks to live.” “They say this is the strongest medication, still people die though. It’s only supposed to make you live longer otherwise you’d die in a few days.”
“Noooo!” Nodra screamed. “I’m too young to die. I’m only 25 I still have around 200 years left. Why me?”
“Ya! Why him? Is he not healthy or something?” Brono asked.
1 out of every 1000 elves get it.
Brono was an elf. He was 5 foot 6 way above average height he had shaggy blonde hair with soft blue eyes. Him and Nodra have been best friends since they were born. Nodra is 4 foot 5 average height for an elf his age. He has short black hair and piercing gray eyes.
Brono was all depressed. For days he sat in the house and sulked. He didn’t want his friend to die. Who would he watch movies with? Or ask dumb questions too? He decided he’d have to do something. The next day he was going to go see Nodra and think of a plan.
The next day they got together. At first they were both clueless. They had two choices. The first one was to make up a medication that’ll make him better in less then 6 weeks. The second one was too go find a Djinn to grant him a wish. They decided to go with their second choice and look for a Djinn. He had to go to Jyptie plains. He’s never been there before you so Nodra gave him a map. It was 1058 KM away. He of course had to find the trustworthiest of Djinn. If he asked the wrong Djinn Nodra’s condition could get worse. The Djinn he had to ask was a Djinn from the Marid tribe. The Marid tribe was the most powerful of all tribes. They are also the kindest of the tribes. There are good tribes and bad tribes. The Atik tribe is evil.
“Brono this might be dangerous though. “ Nodra said worriedly.
“That’s nonsense! I’ll do anything for my best friend. Especially if he’s dieing. I don’t want you too die. I’ll be really sad and depressed. I wouldn’t stop crying and mourning.”
“Awe that’s so sweet. Okay I guess. Go but please be careful. I don’t want you to die either. Try to hurry up though. I only have 6 weeks too live. Now only 5 weeks left because you were mourning.”
“Okay, I’ll leave tomorrow.” Brono replied.
The next day he was off on his quest to find a Djinn. It was a long trip to Jyptie Plains. They rode beautiful white horses. His horse was named Tinkerbell. She was a fast horse one of the fastest. He rode her because she was his favourite and he needed to find a Djinn fast.
Chapter 2: Lost In Troll Forest
On his way he took a devastating wrong turn. He ended up in Troll Forest. The Troll’s caught him.
“Oh no, I can’t believe I did this now I have to outwit them.” Brono said.
“I guess I’ll challenge them to a game.”
“I’ll challenge you Troll’s to a game of wits, I’ll put poison in a cup and put that cup in front of one of us. Then you have to choose a cup to drink. If you choose the cup with poison and drink it you’ll die otherwise I will. Deal?” Brono told the Troll’s.
“Deal,” the Troll’s replied.
He put the tasteless and none smelling drug in both cups. He did this because he became immune to the drug and no matter what the troll’s would die. He put the cups one in front of each person. The troll took his time deciding.
“You’d put the cup with poison farthest from you. Then again you’d think I’d think that and take the other one so the other one must have it. You think I’m stupid don’t you well I’m not I’m really smart. I’m smarter then you. Ok back to the point then you’d think that since I’d think you’d put the one with it in front of me but then think that you put it in front of you in the end it’s in front of me. So I choose the cup in front of me. Wait what’s that?” the Troll said.
“What’s what?”
“Never mind I guess you missed it let’s drink.”
In the end the Troll switched the drinks when he said what is that. Either way since there was drugs in both the Troll died
“You killed our friend!” one of the Troll’s cried.
“It was his choice to do it,” Brono yelled. “Anyways I should be on my way to Jyptie Plains. I guess you’ll have to find someone else to eat tonight. Sorry Bye.”
He didn’t know where he would go he was very tired. So for a while he sat and thought.
“Hmmm should I go to Fairy Cave? Or maybe I should camp out here. Then again the troll’s might come and get me and eat me. This time I might not be so lucky. Plus even if I tried out witting them they might not let me. Also I have barely any left. It’d only fill one cup. I could of course keep on going until I get to Jyptie Plains but there’s still lot’s of Km’s left. Oh wow I’m getting really tired.” Brono said talking to himself.
So in the end Brono decided to go to Fairy Cave. If he went there he’d be safe from all the evil. They couldn’t pass through. Fairy Cave was heavily guarded. They had people watching the gate. If someone tried to get in they’d send a whole bunch of people out to kill them. Or capture them and make them servants. They had quit a few servants there. Bad Djinn, Trolls and bad Rodents. In Fairy Cave he could play any sport he liked. He was treated like royalty. He got his own huge bedroom. Ate whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. He loved it there. He thought that was the best idea he has ever had. Except he’s only allowed to stay there for a couple of days. By now Nodra has 4 weeks and 3 days left.
So off he went to Fairy Cave. He had to remember that he had to take a left turn. In a few hours he was there. He told them the password.
“Raduction,” he said. They let him in.
Raduction means a piece of work edited or revised. We still don’t know why they choose that word.
Chapter 3: Fairy Cave
Inside it was beautiful. It was more beautiful then he remembered. He couldn’t wait to spend a couple of days here.
“This way Brono,” his friend Galion said.
Brono has been best friend’s with Galion since they were little elves and fairies. Galion has always been shorter then Brono. Galion had more muscles then Brono though.
“Long time no see buddy,” Galion said.
“That’s you Galion, wow you look different!” exclaimed Brono.
“Yeah, I know I have more muscles now and my hair is black. How do you like it?”
“It’s great.” Brono replied.
Galion and Brono talked forever they never stopped for about 5 hours. They were surprised that they had that much stuff to talk about. They talked about how Nodra got sick, Brono’s quest everything.
“Hey Galion want to play tennis?” requested Brono.
“Ok let’s go!” Galion answered eagerly.
So they went to the tennis course and started playing. Brono served first. Galion hit it back. Brono hit it backhand Galion swung and missed. Brono got the first point of their game.
. “Good job Brono, you’re getting better,” Galion answered excitedly.
Brono served again. They kept on hitting back and forth to each other. Galion was making Brono work out. He was hitting the ball wherever Brono wasn’t. Finally Brono missed and Galion got to serve.
“One serving one,” Galion said out loud.
Galion served they kept on hitting it back and fourth. Brono scored but since he wasn’t the one that served he actually never got a point. The same thing happened to Galion when Brono served. This kept on going on and on and on. After a little while they got to tired and have up.
“Want to go for supper now Brono?” Galion asked while his stomach was rumbling.
“Sure I’m really hungry. Do you know what we are having?” quizzed Brono.
“Um I think we are having Mushroom Casserole.”
“Mmmm, yum that’s delicious.” Brono said licking his lips.
They started walking down for supper then Brono requested something.
“I think I’m going to go have a shower first I smell.”
“Ok me too. Meet you at supper.” Galion announced.
Brono walked to his room. He got undressed and hopped into the shower. It was cool so he’d cool down. He used Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner to wash his hair. He used Herbal soap to wash his body too. He pondered for a while why they used lots of herbal stuff. Then he realized they’re all around it. After his shower he hopped out and got dressed. He put on fancy clothes for supper to impress his fairy friends. He couldn’t wait to show them his new outfit he bought for an occasion like this. After he was finished getting ready he walked down stairs and out the door to the kitchen outside. He was of course in one of the sweets. He had a huge house basically. In the kitchen everything was set out people were seated and he looked for his friend Galion. Galion was sitting next to his crush. Princess Fybi. They were both getting married in a couple of months. Brono said he was going to come to the wedding no matter what.
“Wow, this is good casserole.” Brono replied happily.
“I know the cook did a great job,” stated Galion
“Who’s the cook?” Brono asked quizzically.
“It’s um a Troll.” Galion mumbled.
“A Troll? Troll’s almost killed me!” Brono exclaimed.
Brono was so scared he started panicking. He ran up to his room hoping to be safe. Then he heard a knock knock knock. He thought it was a Troll and hid under the bed. Then Princess Fybi walked in.
“Oh thank goodness it’s you. I thought it was a Troll coming to eat me for killing their king.”
“Why’d you kill their king?” Princess Fybi asked.
Then Brono told her the whole story of how he had to play a game of wits to win and how he was used to the poison. She thought he was really brave to do that.
“Want to go play a game of badminton I love badminton it’s my favourite sport.” Fybi asked eagerly hoping he’ll say yes.
“Ok, but I’ll beat you!” he said challenging her to beat him.
They went to the badminton courts and started to play. They had some amazing shots. Princess Fybi hit it far then just tapped the birdie and got a point.
“Yay!” she yelled.
Brono came back by making Princess Fybi work out. He hit the birdie far back to the left then short to the right then in the middle. Finally he hit it so hard down to the ground she missed. She couldn’t believe how good he was. In the end Brono won 15-13. It was a good game they both thought.
“Well I’m really exhausted. I think I’m going to go back and go to bed,” Brono said while yawning.
“Ok, me too. That was a really good game and you made me work really hard. It’s nice to have a challenge once in a while. I beat everyone here already. Even the trolls.”
Brono walked up to his room on his way up he bumped into a troll.
“You were the person that killed our king weren’t you?” the Troll asked angrily.
“Um yes on a game of wits. That’s because I wanted to get out. Why would I want to be your guys’ lunch?” remarked Brono.
“I guess but you better watch your back. My friend does make your food.” The angry Troll warned.
“Ok,” Brono said with a trembling voice.
Once Brono was in his room he laid down on the bed and fell asleep. When he woke up it was morning. He went down ate breakfast. He was thinking about leaving that day after he went around to say by to everyone. So he hurried up and ate all of his breakfast. It was pancakers and mushroom tasting eggs. He went for a walk looking for Galion and princess Fybi.
“Hi, I’m going to go now I need to be on my way to find a djinn. Remember Nodra’s sick.” Brono uttered.
“Ok bye!” they said.
Chapter 4: The Big Mistake
Brono started off again. Tinkerbell was well fed and ready to go. It took him a few days to get to Atik land. He stopped at least 3 times to get off and go to sleep underneath a lean-too he made. The lean-too was built for him and Tinkerbell. He had to cross a bridge. Underneath the bridge a Tarat popped out.
“You can’t cross the bridge without a password. That’s what Lord Taragat said,” The Tarat told Brono.
“Ok fine if I guess it right can I go pass?” Brono asked nervously. He really needed to find a Djinn.
“Ok but I’ll give you a riddle.” The Tarat said with a look of wickedness in his eyes.
“I’m gorgeous. I have turquoise eyes and long silky hair. What am I?” The Tarat asked quizzically.
“Oh I know this one this one’s easy. It’s a Djinn from the Marid tribe one of the kindest and trust worthiest of all Djinn.”
“Grrrr you not supposed to know that!” The Tarat growled.
So he was on his way. He didn’t know this but to get to Jyptie Plains he had to cross two bridges. After the first bridge he was supposed to turn, but he forgot and ended up in Atik Land!
“Oh no!” he cried. “I’m stuck it Atik Land and I only have 3 weeks and a few days left. I think 6 but still.”
He was going around town and met a Djinn named Rackshas. Rackshas was a tall broad djinn. He looked like a Troll though. He wore a colourful turban. He had long gray hair with a long gray beard. He had brown eyes.
“I was wondering could you please grant me a wish?” asked Brono with a hint of sparkle in his eyes.
“Oh course I can.” Rackashas answered suspiciously.
“But first I need to ask you a few questions to know I can trust you.”
“Fine then.” Rackshas told Brono.
Then he asked a couple of questions. Some questions were about his past and what he was like. He asked who his friends were and other things. Rackshas answered them to what Brono thought would be right for a Marid Djinn. The thing is Brono never noticed the name of the place “Atik Land” where the Atik tribe lived. If he took time to realize this he wouldn’t make the mistake. If he asks Rackshas to grant his wish Nodra might die.
“Ok well my wish is for my friend Nodra to get better. You see he got a rare lung cancer and will die in about 3 more weeks!”
Rackshas muttered his word, “Abercombienian.”
“That’s it that’s all?” Brono wondered.
“Yup now your friend should be better.”
“Well then I shall be on my way.” Brono said gaily.
Brono phoned Nodra on his cellophone. Instead of Nodra picking up a nurse did.
“Hello?” Brono asked.
“Hi sorry this is nurse Frobo. You know Dr. Frobo’s wife.” Mrs. Frobo said.
“Where’s Nodra?”
“He’s inside the hospital room. All of a sudden his condition got worse he only has 1 week to live now.” Mrs. Frobo said sadly.
Brono started to cry he couldn’t believe he trusted that evil Djinn. After he left he saw a sign that said ‘Atik Land’. He was so mad he never asked what the town was called. He couldn’t believe he did that.
Chapter 5: Finally He Found Her
He started on his journey again. Praying he’ll find a Djinn in less then a week. He was so sad he was basically crying on the trip to ‘Jyptie Plains’ from ‘Atik Land’. It took him a day to travel to Jyptie Plains. He remembered that he had a map with him. He couldn’t believe he forgot about it. Then after a little while of studying it he realized he wouldn’t have made the wrong turns if he had the map. It also wouldn’t have taken him as long to find a djinn. So he decided to follow the map and entered Jyptie Plains. It was a beautiful place. He was walking his horse around then he accidentally bumped into a beautiful girl.
“Opps. Sorry I never meant to hurt you.” Brono said with sadness in his voice.
“Oh, its ok you never hurt me.” She gushed.
“What’s your name? Mines Brono.” Brono asked.
“My names Felishia. Why are you here?” Felishia asked.
“I’m here looking for a Djinn from the Marid tribe. I need them to grant me a wish urgently. Do you know anyone?” questioned Brono.
They sat there talking for a long time getting to know each other. Brono found out she’s a Djinn from the Marid tribe. Felishia has is 5 foot 5 average height for female Djinn. She also has long silky brown hair with soft baby blue eyes. She had soft skin and was athletic.
“Can she grant me a wish?” Brono wondered out loud.
“Yes I can and I’ll grant you three.” answered Felishia.
He asked her to make Nodra better. That was his first wish then he phoned Nodra on the cellophone and he said he was cured. The next wish was to marry Felishia. The last one was to live with her forever and always.
A few weeks later all Brono’s friends and Felishia’s friends had come to their weeding. Nodra, Galion and Princess Fybi came. Also Nodra’s doctor Mr. Frobo and his nurse Mrs. Frobo came. The wedding was beautiful. Felishia had a couple of her friend’s as bridesmaids. Brono’s best man was Nodra. The after party was amazing. They all had a blast. There was drinking and everything people were slow dancing together and everything. Brono and Felishia got beautiful presents from people. On was a ticket to go to a romance place called “Island of Hugs&& Kisses”. They just couldn’t wait to go. They found out that princess Fybi and Galion were getting married to in a few days and going to the “island of Hugs&& kisses”. They couldn’t wait to spend their honeymoon together.
Chapter 6: The Honeymoon
“Wow this place is beautiful!” exclaimed Felishia and Queen Fybi in unison.
Since princess Fybi got married her name turned to Queen Fybi.
“I can’t wait to go swimming and getting a tan.” Felishia told Brono. “Do you think I’ll look better with darker skin then I already have?”
“Of course you will sweetheart.” Brono answered sweetly.
On their first night they went out for a romantic dinner. The restaurant was called ‘Romatic embrasse’. It’s French for Romantic Hugs. They had fried fish with coleslaw and a baked patata.
“Yum this supper is delicious. I can’t wait till breakfast.” Felishia said hungrily.
After they were done supper they went back to their room. The laid on the bed for a while and watched the teliprometer. A little while later Felishia went to go have a bath with bubbles and candles. Brono joined her. While she was in the bath he sat their and talked to her about their future. He said he wanted to have kids. He said he wanted a girl and a boy. He wanted twins of course. She got up out of the tub and dried off. Then a few minutes later they were lying in bed. She started kissing him passionately. A few days later she found out that she was pregnant. They were so happy. Brono hoped it’d be a girl and a boy. For the rest of the honeymoon they relaxed. Felishia thought if she relaxed nothing would happen to the babies. She really couldn’t wait till she had them.
Chapter 7: 16 Years Later
A year later they had two kids. Danika had soft baby blue eyes like her parents and long silky blonde hair. Danika means morning star. The boys name is Kern. He has turquoise coloured eyes. He has shaggy brown hair. His name means Dark Haired Child.
Now they are 16 and very popular. They are active with sports. Danika is amazing at volleyball, soccer, basketball all team sports basically. Kern is amazing at sports he does by himself. He’s good at badminton, tennis, skiing, biking like in biathlons. They are the top student’s of their class too. Danika loves reading books but Kern doesn’t.

Yay! I can’t wait even though I’m not going anywhere. Maybe I’ll go to Thompson for a few days. I don’t know yet. Spring Breaks awesome finally like a week and a half away from school. To be exact I’d say 9 whole days. Yay!
